I started making jewellery 18 years ago at Epsom School of Art and Design, where I completed an H.N.D. in Jewellery Design. I then worked in the trade making wedding rings and fine jewellery for a small manufacturing company for six years.
After having two lovely little girls I returned to making jewellery with fresh ideas and realised how much I had missed designing and creating.
It is often every day things that inspire me to make jewellery. Small, but to me memorable happenings, like a swift caught behind a bedroom curtain or a rediscovered childhood birthday card.
I also embrace the influence of other cultures and eras. I rarely make two pieces the same, so I’m always looking forward to trying something new.
